Used Clifton cameras as they had a particular lens that I wanted and it wasn't available from another photo shop I normally use. The price was very good and there was a sale on at the time so I bought the item. There were regular status updates via email on the purchase and even though I ordered it late on a Friday and live on a Scottish island it was with me by the following Wednesday, which was great. Item was exactly as described and very well packed. I will seriously consider using Clifton cameras again should I require any more kit.

I used Clifton cameras to buy a new camera bag as my usual supplier was out of stock. Not only were they a couple of pounds cheaper the customer experience is much better. That may sound cheesy but when buying something but it's nice to have a human interaction when buying online.

Since then I have bought cameras and lenses from them without any issues.

Communication is prompt, the advisers are knowledgable and the shipping/dispatch is very very quick.

Ordered a Camer at 3pm, had it delivered before 10am next day, free delivery. How can you fault a service like that? I'll definitely be going back when I am looking for lens ?

A great price on the camera and mount package that I wanted, and very quickly delivered. I had one contact with customer service, to double check delivery, and they answered quickly, politely and with exactly the confirmation that I required.

My recent trade-in and purchase of a Panasonic S5 II (+ lenses) went very well - thanks to the patient and knowledgeable staff in Dursley. I had a lot of kit to trade-in and was considering a wide range of options for new kit which made the process quite complicated, but the team stuck with me and helped me in every way they could. It's great to have a local camera store with staff who are passionate, helpful and really know their stuff! Thank you to all concerned - I highly recommend.

Don’t understand how this company has so many positive reviews ordered a bag and they told be it’s on order a month later and still nothing water my time.

Update got the bag but they really need to update customers regularly.

Ordered on line. I called the shop first to check the product was still in stock. Mark answered, he seemed a bit put out that I'd called to check stock as on line stated item was 'already in stock.' But from past experience, websites sometimes say in stock but ran out. Just wanted to check to be sure. Other than that, delivery was pretty quick, well packed and price for item was competitive.

When using a company as Clifton Cameras you are assured of excellent service, the care in packaging ( even memory cards) are no exception, a very speedy turnaround on all orders big or small and the comfort in buying with confidence - what more does one need - Clifton Cameras - you know it makes sense !!!!!!

I recently bought a used Olympus OMD EM1ii camera from Clifton Cameras. It was described as excellent and when received it was really was. The cables in the box were the wrong type for this camera but the sales team rectified this immediately with no hassle. The pictures from the camera surpass my expectation in both clarity and colour. I would highly recommend Clifton Cameras for providing me with an excellent camera as described and rectifying the issue immediately (An honest company to deal with) and the camera purchased from them which I am pleased with the picture quality.

As a Chartered Quality Practitioner, I look for a high standard of service in companies with whom I have any dealings but, sadly, many of them fall very short. This was certainly not the case with Clifton Cameras, as they exceeded my expectations. This was particularly due to James, who was my main point of contact. All of my emails were answered promptly and politely. I traded-in some accessories and believe that I received a fair price and the company arranged prompt collection of these. The items which I wished to purchase were available at a good price and the items were delivered promptly, as notified, to me. The service was excellent and I would certainly recommend this company to anyone.
